Welcome

Thirty-years ago the Star Wars films rocked the world and changed the course of the movie industry. George Lucas' classic film created a new world mythology making it a giant of the twentieth-century pop culture. Since its classic premiere in 1977 and prequel premiere in 1999, Star Wars has inspired people all around the world. For many, the series has some of the best characters in film history. Two of them are the beautiful headstrong Leia Organa and Padmé Amidala. Both ladies discover new facets of themselves through emotions while abandoning none of their personality traits, into the kind of women to latch onto and admire. They demonstrate utter resilience and strength in times of need.

This fansite is dedicated to all fans of Princess Leia and Padmé Amidala, the leading ladies of Star Wars. The site will try to bring you the most up to date information. Here you'll find bios, galleries, fan art, fan fiction, wardrobe descriptions and everything you need to know about these wonderful characters. Leia Fun Facts
Included new "Did you know?" facts related to our favorite princess:

Image Update
Bana Breemu - high-res promo
Aayla Secura - scanned new comic book images (Rite of Passage cover, fighting, with Master Quinlan Vos).
Shaak Ti - "New" promo shot, during the Great Jedi Purge, with fellow Jedi friends, during the battle, wounded after the battle and on Dagu. By the way, Shakti in Hindu concept means sacred force, power or energy and represents the active, dynamic principles of feminine power. In Shaktism, Shakti is worshiped as the Supreme Being. Quite interesting!

Hello Hello!
As you can see there is no Star Wars news today only gallery updates. Well, this week has been a little stressful, but I did manage to update two of my favorite Queen Amidala gowns and will be updating more as time goes on…There are a tons of pictures (I’d like to thank SWFFAQ and ATS) for some of the images. I would highly suggest you check them out all here and here. These are my favorites:
Pre-Senate Gown – *hi-res* promos 1 and 2; movie still 1 and 2.
Post Senate Gown – promo 1, 2 and 3; movie still 1 and 2; behind-the-scenes with a very relaxed Queen and Director. Enjoy!

Also, Mandeep was kind enough to send in two “new” Aurra Sing images 1 and 2. Very cool! And he also sent in this nice behind-the-scenes picture of Terr Taneel and Chi-Eekway. Thanks a million!

And thanks to everyone who keeps supporting the site. I really appreciate it! Now I leave you with this beautiful but sad youtube video titled, "Goodbye, my lover...Padmé & Anakin" so get out the tissue. Here are my thoughts: It must be really hard to live with emotional agony… Anakin never forgot Padmé. I can’t fathom the pain and sorrow and especially regret he felt for the rest of his life, thinking about her every day, and knowing that it was he who ended up causing her death. I don't think there was a day in his life he didn't think of her. It's just sad!

On a much happier note, if you’re a Han Solo fan you may not want to miss this very cute bobble-head from Funko.

I bought mine at Target for $9.99 (U.S).

The next update will have some lovely "new" Leia images and more
                                 Padmé updates are coming soon!
